About Us

Who We Are and What We Do

God's Will Foundation was born out of both love and loss, created in memory of William "Will" C. Jones, V.

Will's life was a beautiful testament to kindness, creativity, and faith, but it was also marked by struggles and mental illness that led to his untimely passing. In his memory, we've committed ourselves to telling his story - not just as a tribute but as a source of helping others to heal pain and fulfill their purpose.

We created this foundation because of the beautiful person Will was, the painful illness he experienced, and the prompting of the Holy Spirit to share his life to inspire and uplift others.

At God's Will Foundation, we believe that hope can be born even out of the deepest sorrow, and we can all make a positive difference in the world together.

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

- John 1:5 (NIV) -

“Will, I always knew that you had the ability to change the world,
I just never thought it would be like this.”

Love, Mom

Our Mission

At God's Will Foundation, our mission has four core pillars that guide our work.

About Us Page_ Our Mission_edited.jpg

Education
and Awareness

We strive to educate and raise awareness about mental illness, particularly misunderstood conditions like psychosis.

A key focus is highlighting the risks of Delta 9 THC as a potential trigger for substance-induced psychosis, especially with the growing legalization of marijuana.

By spreading knowledge, we aim to de-stigmatize mental health challenges and empower individuals to seek the help they need.

Mental Health Programs and Resources

We are committed to expanding access to and financially supporting programs that assist people facing mental health and substance abuse challenges, along with their families, peers, and the professionals who serve them. We also envision developing specific programs within existing initiatives to address certain special needs.

Our goal is to highlight these organizations and their programs, ensuring that these resources are readily available to those in need, including the most vulnerable populations who may be hiding in plain sight.

Empowering Unique Talents and Purpose

We aim to support and create programs that help children and young people explore, identify, and nurture their unique talents, gifts, and abilities.

We want to empower them to live purposeful and meaningful lives that bless both themselves and others.

Spiritual
Guidance

We support those seeking a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ by providing sound biblical information and resources.

Our mission is to help people connect with their faith, find their identity in God, and discover the divine purpose. He has for their lives.

Our Vision

At God's Will Foundation, we envision a world where every person can fully realize their inherent potential and live a life of purpose and fulfillment.

We strive for a future where everyone can discover and nurture their unique talents, gifts, and abilities, no matter their past, mistakes, and challenges. By addressing mental, emotional, and behavioral threats, we aim to help people overcome barriers that may hinder their path to living a meaningful life.

We seek to create a supportive environment where people are inspired to explore their passions and use their gifts to make a positive impact in the world, enriching their own lives and the lives of others.

Through our work, we hope to brighten the path for those who feel lost or overwhelmed, guiding them toward a more hopeful, more purposeful future so that they can carry out their God-given purpose. In doing so, we honor Will's legacy and continue his mission to inspire and uplift those in need.

Our Beliefs

Every person is uniquely created by God on purpose for a purpose, a truth we hold deeply in our hearts. We believe that discovering one's calling starts with a relationship with our Creator, through which each person's unique potential comes to light.

While acknowledging that no one is immune from the suffering and challenges of living in a perishing world, we believe walking in alignment with God's purpose brings deep fulfillment and meaning.

This belief and our faith drive us to support and uplift others in their journey toward discovering and embracing their unique gifts and talents. This way, we aim to enrich their lives and positively impact the world around them.

In all that we do, we strive to help individuals connect with their divine purpose, find joy in their calling, and navigate their struggles with hope and resilience.

Who is God’s Will Foundation For?

For Those Facing
Mental Health Challenges

Whether you're navigating normal mental health challenges or dealing with serious mental illness like psychosis, we are here to offer understanding, education, and support.

Our goal is to assist you in seeking the treatment and healing you need, including for issues related to substance overuse and dependence.

For Loved Ones
And Caregivers

For loved ones, caregivers, and family members of anyone struggling with mental illness, we are dedicated to assisting you in accessing resources to support you through the highs and lows of this challenging journey.
We aim to share knowledge and resources needed to help your loved one through this difficult time and foster stronger, more compassionate connections.

For Talented
And Passionate Individuals

We understand that life's pain and challenges, problems due to no fault of your own, lack of direction, and lack of sense of self can sometimes dim the light of your gifts and make it hard to pursue your passions.

We want you to know that your God-given talents are needed and valuable.
Our goal is to help you see your worth, embrace your creativity, and share your unique gifts with the world.

For Those Needing More Understanding About Mental Illness

For those needing more understanding about the reality of mental illness, we seek to challenge the misconceptions that mental illness is merely a character flaw, weakness, or lack of faith. Mental health is as important as physical health and mental illness is as real as physical illness. By fostering this understanding, we hope to encourage the same urgency with seeking help for mental health as you would with a physical health crisis to avoid prolonged suffering and loss.

For Mental Health
Professionals

For professionals working in the mental health field, we encourage and support your efforts to better understand and screen for psychosis and substance abuse disorders.

Our goal is to contribute to more effective care and improved outcomes for this population.

For Those Seeking
A Closer Relationship With God

We have all been given free will and the ability to make our own choices.  For those who desire to have a personal relationship with the One who uniquely created you on purpose for a purpose.

Our goal is to help you see your value in God through Christ Jesus and find hope, peace, and purpose in becoming the person God intended you to be. Everything about you is beautiful and unique.

Heal Pain
And Fulfill Purpose

At God's Will Foundation, we believe that, regardless of the source of pain, it can be transformed into purpose.

By sharing Will's story, our own pain and by embracing the power of community, we hope that something that is shared will bring hope and healing to those facing their own set of challenges.

Join us in this mission to uplift others, help them fulfill their God-given purpose, and lead a meaningful life.

Together, we can truly light up the world.
